Good projector for entry class. Netflix is just fine

Overall I am impressed by this projector! It has replaced my home TV which looks ugly on the wall anyhow. True, the day light can affect quality a bit so you might need to close the shades, but is perfect for us because we like to limit our screen time for a healthy life style so watching after dawn is just perfect.

The fact that's portable, has great sound quality and it's super easy to setup makes it even more perfect to move from room to room or to use outdoors. We don't even own a projector screen using the light grey paint on sheet rock and the quality is still impressing me.

Not sure why people complain about Netflix, I guess they don't know how to read the 1 page user manual that explains how to install those apps via XGIMI's own app store for free. I guess people confuse this with their Android phones :)

Unfortunately, 2 years later, the Netflix problem is still not solved, you can't install it normally, you just have to combine it with uninstallation, etc., otherwise we can only watch it in 720p, I don't recommend it at the moment

Good projector that's choppy at times and infrequent software updates

While the device is decent quality for the price and I like the Android TV OS, XGIMI does not keep their software up to date. The last security patch is from a year ago and they're running Android TV OS10. OS13 is the latest version. When the device works, it works well. At other times the device is a bit choppy, likely due to insufficient RAM. Color calibration and adjustments are super minimal.
Overall the "packaging" of the device is nice but the execution is mid tier.

Almost perfect

Seriously impressive in terms of clarity, color, and sound quality. Only thing I would improve would be ease of streaming from phone directly to the projector but can easily solve any issues by connecting it to an Apple TV. Also portability is much handier than I expected it to be!

Way more than I could have ever hopes for. Was looking for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth projector with battery capabilities and a nice picture for outdoor patio and camping and found the perfect solution to master bedroom too. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
